oziTarget Classic is being retired

This is the legacy product and is being replaced by oziTarget Map, the new standalone Windows app. ProPack subscription sales will end at some point during 2026, or later depending on demand for this legacy product. Existing subscriptions will continue to run and function normally until their scheduled expiry date.

Exclusive ProPack features for subscribers, including Live Tracking. An internet connection is required to send or receive tracking data; other ProPack tools work offline. One subscription per computer. Auto-renewal is not available — purchase again at the end of your period.

How to register

After purchase you'll receive a registration file by email. See the help page for how to apply it and get activated.

Keep your file safe

Keep copies of your registration file in a few places — the oziTarget directory on your flight computer, a cloud service, a home computer, and tagged in your email — so you can recover it if your flight computer is lost, damaged or stolen.

Purchase notes

• Registration details are processed manually and emailed back as soon as possible after payment.
• Purchases are handled from Australia, so you may not receive a reply until the next morning (AEST). Allow up to 24 hours.
• Your oziTarget purchase does not include OziExplorer — buy that separately from oziexplorer.com.
• This is a work in progress, so test in trial mode first to make sure it works with your setup.
• There is no trial option for Live Tracking.
• Refunds will not be issued once a registration code has been issued, for either the main application or tracking.
• Avoid Windows updates during an event — a Windows update bug has caused problems in the wild before.

Upgrade & update policy

oziTarget uses four mechanisms to provide enhancements and bug fixes.

Major releases / upgrades

May be subject to extra registration costs (a change in the digit left of the first decimal, e.g. 1.0 → 2.0).

Extensions & subscriptions

New features or plug-ins may be sold separately to the main app, as one-off purchases or by subscription.

Minor releases

Free for the life of oziTarget — limited new features and high-priority fixes (e.g. 1.4 → 1.5).

Maintenance releases / updates

Free for the life of oziTarget — maintenance corrections and high-severity fixes (e.g. 1.4.7 → 1.4.8).

Licence agreement

By using or purchasing this software you acknowledge that it may not be fit for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to aviation navigation.
Updates and fixes are at the discretion of the author and, while intended to be timely, may be delayed by real work and family life.
Avoid installing a new version the night before a competition without a backup of the old version on hand.
Please do not share your registration code. One registration per pilot, preferably per computer. A backup flight computer or a home test copy is fine; running one licence for a whole team is not.
This program is not affiliated with OziExplorer except that it piggybacks on existing versions using an API released by the OziExplorer developer.
