You've bought a registration code — thank you for your support. The next step is to get activated and running oziTarget for real.
Version 1.5.1.11 and later
Download the registration file you received by email (named something
like registration_name.lic)
and save it to your computer, then copy it into the oziTarget
installation folder — typically
C:\ozitarget.
Note: for registration with ProPack there is no
manual-entry option. It must be done using the
.lic file.
Manual entry
From version 1.5.1.11, manual entry is available again for the basic oziTarget registration (not ProPack):
- Copy and paste your user name and code from your order email — pasting avoids typos.
- Click Enter to process it.
If the code is not accepted, check for leading or trailing spaces entered by mistake.
Keep your registration file safe
Keep copies of your registration file in a few places:
- In the oziTarget directory on your flight computer
- On a cloud service such as Google Drive
- On a home computer or server
- Tagged in the email it arrived in
Save them where you can recover them if your flight computer is lost, damaged or stolen — replacements can't always be issued instantly due to time-zone differences.
ProPack registration
Your ProPack registration arrives in the
.lic
file and includes both your core oziTarget registration and the
subscription details. Apply it as above. At the end of a subscription,
the core application keeps working with no change; when you renew you'll
receive a new .lic
file. You can check subscription status under
Help → Settings → Tracking.
No registration file?
Long-time users may never have received a
.lic
file, since details were originally entered manually. If so, email
sales@ozitarget.com with your registration details and we'll reply with a registration
file.
