What's new in 1.30.6

Placement

Settings and other windows that open beside a tool sit to the right when they fit. If there is not enough room between the tool and the right of that monitor, they open on the left. This includes Windreader, CRT, Land Run, Task Data, track edit / draw, HDG Hold, waypoint group tools, tracking Flightwinds, and the numeric keypad.

Disp persistence

Hiding a pilot on the map (the eye / Disp column in Tracking settings) is remembered after restart, loading a flight, and turning Tracking back on. Data (Get) is unchanged.

Column sort

Click a column heading (Name, Alt, Hdg, Spd; View 3 also Wpt, DTG, Brg, ETE) to sort the list. Click again to reverse. Missing or stale values stay at the bottom. Each view keeps its own sort.

Speed and time → distance

You can set speed and time to calculate distance (choose time as Slider or Manual, or click Distance Calc.). Speed and distance use Settings → Units (km/h / kts / m/s, and m / km / nm). The metres→km threshold applies the same as other tools.

Named overwrite

After you save a flight this session, File → Save Flight: {name} appears. Yes overwrites that file; No leaves it. New flight clears the item.

Filters and rings

Filter Min speed (same units as the wind source) and Max Δ alt apply on Calculate. Min alt / Max alt sliders keep only those readings and step to the next wind-source altitude. Distance types draw min/max rings (blank A–C min draws no inner ring). Settings has Ring Colour. Wind pairs keeps its last height.

Delete rows below

Delete rows below is on the table dropdown and the right-click menu, same confirm as Delete rows above.

Altitude graph zoom

Zoom the altitude graph in to a 2-minute window (buttons, mouse wheel, or +/-). Height rescales to the visible section. The current Point is marked on the map (orange ring); the map recentres if that point leaves the view. Center pans to the current Point without changing zoom. Show track still fits the whole track.

ROC readout

The readout and max climb / descent show both m/s and ft/min. The Settings → Units → ROC preference is listed first.

3-digit goal lists

Process reads 3-digit goal lists on the sheet (for example Goal 133 / 139 / 153 / 227, including spaces around /). Those numbers are waypoint names, not a short grid. Matching pins in the waypoint list are added to the task and tagged. Logger goals and logger marks still follow the sheet numbers (#2); a list of available goals does not create extra declaration slots.

Browser controls

The URL field has browser controls on the right: Back, Forward, Refresh, then History. Sheet text stays on the Task Data window.

Scoring radius and Target anytime

Each goal has a scoring-area radius in metres (0 = Entire Contest Area). The timing picker has Target anytime (default); clear it to give the centre Target the same timed windows as the scoring area. Live cards show Target anytime or the Target’s timed windows.

Live card

Live card is Elapsed / Delta and Decl / ETE. Status is Hold, Late, or Early. The finished-race card is light green.
